Description

This festival is open to craft vendors and a limited number of non-craft vendors. Applications will be monitored, and vendors may be asked to provide more information on their products. All applicants must provide up to 3 photos of their work. Please send photos by email to jennifer@UpwardNiagara.com .

All vendors must participate in the festival BOTH DAYS – NO Exceptions. Non-craft vendors will be placed in a designated area.

At this time, space is not available for wineries to be placed within the Famer's Market area. If you are a winery wishing to vend, please complete the Food and/or Beverage application.

Registration Options

2023 Vendor Terms


1.  This festival is open to craft vendors, a limited of non-craft vendors, farmers market vendors and a limited amount of food/beverage vendors. Applications will be monitored, and vendors may be asked to provide more information on their products. All applicants must provide up to 3 photos of their work. You can send the photos by email (Jennifer@UpwardNiagara.com) with or separate from your application. All vendors must participate in the festival BOTH DAYS – NO Exceptions


2.  Center Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Set up will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24 starting at 6:30am. Please DO NOT arrive prior to that time as we work with the DPW and Police to safely close the street between 5am and 6am.  No vehicles will be allowed on the street where your vendor tents are located.  Your vehicles must be moved by 9:15 AM and parked by 9:30 AM. Vendors will NOT be permitted to drive on the street for takedown on Sunday until 5:00 pm unless otherwise notified. 


3.  We will provide overnight security from 6 PM Saturday night until 6:00 AM Sunday morning. Vendors are welcome to leave their tents and tables set up (at your own risk), but your tent area must be closed up overnight. You may leave items in your booth overnight at your own risk.


4.  Vendors will be provided with one event vehicle permit for loading and unloading purposes. Permits must be placed on vehicle dashboard for identification. Only vendors with permits will be permitted into the festival area. If you need an additional event permit, please contact the Chamber Office at 716-754-9500 no later than two weeks prior to the festival date. During loading/unloading, hazard lights must be turned on and vehicles must drive slow.


5.  Vendors will be notified of their space assignment by September 8, 2023. Assignments are final and no changes will be made. Space Assignments are based upon history with the festival and date of application submission. Previous vendor spaces are NOT guaranteed


6.  Each applicant must remit with their application a copy of their current NYS Tax number/certificate.  Submitting a tax ID number alone will not be sufficient. A copy of the actual certificate is required. Failure to do so will result in not being admitted to vend in the show. Your Tax ID must be displayed during the festival. 


7.  All vendors must have a tent for their space and can only encompass their 10 X 10 space. If you do not have a tent for your space, you will be asked to leave the festival immediately. Items must be displayed on tablecloth covered tables. Your business name must also be displayed/in view. 


8.  Vendors are responsible for supplying their own display equipment, seating, and supplies, including weather protection. Electricity is not provided. You are not permitted to plug into any village property or use any village property’s water. Generators are NOT permitted.


9. Prizes will be given to the best booth displays! 

                 1st Prize: FREE single space admission to next year’s show

                 2nd Prize: 50% off a single space admission to next year’s show

                 3rd Prize: 25% off a single space admission to next year’s show


10.  The deadline to apply to be in the show is August 1, 2023.  Applications received after the deadline are subjected to a $50 fee. Cancellations must be made by September 1, 2023. A $25 processing fee will be charged for all cancellations. Show dates are RAIN or SHINE.


11. The Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce may void this contract in the event the festival is cancelled as the result of a health threat to participants and audience as determined by management and/or local, state or National officials.



Food Vendor Terms
In addition the all the Vendor Terms listed above, the following terms also apply to Food Vendors.


1. The Food/Beverage Vending fee includes two(2) round resin tables w/black linen and eight (8) chairs and two small bistro tables w/linen. Additional Tables and Chairs are available for purchase. Any additional tables and/or chairs must be ordered in advance through the festival ONLY. 

2.  There is a very limited amount of electrical spaces available for Food/Beverage Vendors ONLY. The cost for Electric is $75.

3.  All Food/Beverage vendors will be required to provide the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce with an insurance certificate naming the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce (895 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092) 

4. All Food/Beverage vendors will be required to provide the Village of Lewiston (145 North Fourth Street, Lewiston, NY  14092) as additional insured in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00). This must accompany your application.


Vendors Serving Beer on Festival Grounds
In addition the all the Vendor Terms listed above, the following terms also apply to Food Vendors.
There is a LIMITED amount of space available.


1.  An Alcoholic Beverage Control Special Permit is required by the NYS Liquor Authority. Please contact the State Liquor Authority at 125 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14243 (716) 547-3035 for specific details on regulations and fees.

2.  Liquor Liability Insurance is strongly recommended for the two-day festival and your staff having TIPS certification or comparable course certification.

3.  All Vendors serving Beer/Wine are Required to sell at least one product produced by the Presenting Sponsor Brickyard Brewing Company. Please contact Steve Matthews (stevematthews76@hotmail.com) or Tom Winter (twinter9682@gmail.com)  at (716) 754-7227 to make arrangements for product. This also applies to Wineries selling beer.



Farm Vendor Terms
